- How do I export trades from NinjaTrader 8?
- In NT8, open Control Center → Trade Performance, set your account and date range, then click the Save icon to export. Choose CSV format. Drop the file into TradersForge's Import & Connect page and the NT8 adapter handles the rest. Multi-account exports also work — TradersForge routes each trade to the correct linked account.
- Can I import NinjaTrader Strategy Performance reports?
- Trade Performance reports (manual + automated trades) are the standard import path. For automated strategy backtests, the Strategy Analyzer outputs are not the journaling target — those belong in NT's own analyzer. The journal is for live and historical actual trades.
- Does TradersForge work with NinjaTrader prop firm accounts?

- NT8 Trade Performance CSV includes commission per trade. TradersForge uses these directly. For prop firm accounts where NT bills fees through a separate channel, you can override the default fee schedule per account if needed.
- Can I import historical NinjaTrader trades?
- Yes — generate a Trade Performance report covering whatever date range you want to backfill. NT8 keeps history as far back as your account data allows. The import is fast (typically seconds for thousands of trades).
- Do I have to switch from NinjaTrader to use TradersForge?
