Importing Trades

How do I import trades from a CSV?

Go to Import & Connect, click "Import CSV," and select your file. We support NinjaTrader, Tradovate, and generic CSV formats. The importer will auto-detect your format and map the columns.

What CSV formats are supported?

NinjaTrader trade performance exports, Tradovate fill exports, Interactive Brokers activity statements, and a generic format with columns for date, symbol, side, quantity, price, and P&L.

Will duplicate trades be created if I import the same file twice?

No. Trades are deduplicated by a unique key (external trade ID or timestamp + symbol + side). Re-importing the same data is safe.

Broker Connections

How do I connect my broker?

Go to Import & Connect and click "Connect Broker." Select your brokerage and authorize read-only access through their secure login. We never see your broker password.

What brokers are supported?

We currently support Webull, Interactive Brokers, Schwab, and other brokers via SnapTrade. Tradovate live sync is coming soon. You can always import trades via CSV from any broker.

Can you place trades or move money in my account?

No. We only request read-only access to pull your trade history. We cannot and will never place orders, modify positions, or transfer funds.

How do I disconnect a broker?

Go to Import & Connect, find the broker connection, and click "Disconnect." This removes the OAuth token from our system. You can also revoke access from your broker's settings.

Analytics & Dashboard

How is P&L calculated?

P&L is calculated from your actual fill prices using FIFO (first-in, first-out) matching. For options, each contract represents 100 shares. For futures, instrument-specific multipliers are applied (e.g., $50/point for ES, $20/point for NQ).

What does the Account Value stat show?

Account Value shows the sum of current balances across all your linked trading accounts (or the selected accounts if you're using the account filter).

Can I filter by account or time range?

Yes. Use the account switcher in the top bar to filter by specific accounts. Use the time range toggle on the Dashboard and Analytics pages to view different periods.

Journal & Playbook

How do I add notes to a trade?

Click on any trade to open the detail view, then use the journal section to add notes, rate your execution, record your emotional state, and tag the setup you used.

What is the Playbook?

The Playbook is where you define your trading setups (e.g., "Opening Range Breakout"). Each setup tracks its own win rate, average R, and expectancy based on the trades you tag with it.

Billing & Plans

What are the available plans?

Free (50 trades, basic analytics), Pro ($19/mo or $190/yr — unlimited trades, full analytics, broker connections), and Elite ($39/mo or $390/yr — everything in Pro plus unlimited connections and API access).

How do I upgrade or cancel?

Go to Settings > Billing to manage your subscription. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. New accounts get a 14-day free trial of Pro features — no credit card required.

Security & Privacy

How is my data protected?

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Broker OAuth tokens are encrypted using Supabase Vault. Row-level security ensures you can only access your own data.

Can I delete my account and data?

Yes. Go to Settings to delete your account. This permanently removes all your data, trades, journal entries, and broker connections.
