Auto-Sync Your Trades from Tradovate

Connect your Tradovate account in one click — read-only, no order access. Closed trades, fills, and fees flow into your journal automatically, so your review process starts with data already in place instead of a CSV export.

One-click read-only connection · automatic fill pairing & fees · works with Apex, My Funded Futures, Tradeify & other Tradovate-based prop accounts.

Manual exports are why journals get abandoned.

Most traders who quit journaling quit because of the plumbing: export a CSV after every session, fix the columns, re-upload, repair duplicates. Miss a few days and the backlog kills the habit.

Tradovate-based prop accounts multiply the problem — run three Apex accounts and a personal account and you have four exports per evening before you write a single line of review.

The journal should collect the data. You should spend your time on the review.

Connect once. Every trade shows up on its own.

A one-click, read-only connection brings in your Tradovate trades, fills, and fees automatically — across every account you run.

Automatic trade sync

Closed trades arrive in your journal automatically — symbol, side, entry/exit, and P&L, with fills paired lot-by-lot (FIFO) so partial fills and scale-outs are counted correctly.

Read-only by design

The connection can read your trade data — nothing else. It cannot place, modify, or cancel orders, and you can disconnect it at any time from the Connections page.

Every account, one journal

Multiple Tradovate accounts sync side by side with per-account P&L. Personal and prop accounts stay separated, with consolidated stats when you want the full picture.

Live prop firm drawdown

Link each synced account to its prop firm template — Apex (Intraday/EOD), My Funded Futures, Tradeify, and more. The drawdown engine applies that firm’s exact rules to your live data and shows headroom to the floor.

Fees and commissions included

Per-account fee schedules mean your journal P&L reflects what actually hit the account — not gross numbers that quietly overstate your edge.

AI review on synced trades

Because trades arrive with full context, Forge AI can review your execution per trade and in daily/weekly cascades — no data entry required first.

FAQ

How does the Tradovate auto-sync work?
You connect your Tradovate account from the Connections page with a one-click, read-only authorization. After that, closed trades, fills, and fees sync into your journal automatically — there is nothing to export or upload. You can also backfill older history via CSV import.
Is the connection safe? Can it touch my orders?
The connection is read-only. It can see your trade history and account data for journaling purposes, but it cannot place, modify, or cancel orders or move funds. You can revoke it at any time.
Does it work with prop firm accounts like Apex or My Funded Futures?
Yes. Many futures prop firms — including Apex Trader Funding, My Funded Futures, and Tradeify — run their funded accounts on Tradovate. Those accounts sync like any other, and you can attach the matching prop firm rule template so drawdown, daily loss, and consistency rules are tracked live against your synced trades.
How are partial fills and scale-ins handled?
Fills are paired lot-by-lot using FIFO, so a position built from several entries and closed in several exits is reconstructed into accurate per-trade records rather than one blurry average.
Are commissions and exchange fees included?
Yes. Fees are applied per account via configurable fee schedules, so the P&L you review matches what your account statement shows.
What does it cost?
Broker auto-sync is included on the Pro plan ($10/month or $100/year) and above, with a 14-day free trial — no card required to start. The Free tier supports manual entry and CSV import.
